The name of one of the most popular Italian liqueurs Amaretto, comes from the almond variety that is used, namely the 'mandorla amara' or bitter almond. Although our ice cream does not contain alcohol, thanks to these almonds combined with a milder variety, we achieved the same irresistible bittersweet taste. It is ideal in place of Amaretto with alcohol or any other after-dinner drink (as well as at any other time!).
